Published by Harper Collins and due for release October 1st 2009, the book is packed with personal anecdotes as Frankie tells his story, from growing up in Glasgow through battling alcohol and drug addiction and working at his first job in a mental hospital.  All told in Frankie's inimitable, acerbic style.

Sarah Millican gets nominated for Barry Award, guests on Clive Anderson's Chat Room and set to record voiceovers for newly commissioned Walk on the Wild Side for BBC1

Sarah has just returned from a hugely successful run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival where she played to packed houses, gained rave reviews and was nominated for the prestigious Barry Award - the only Brit and only woman on the list this year.

Sarah will be appearing as a guest on Clive Anderson's Chat Room, Radio 2, Thursday 7th May 10pm.

More info here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/comedy/

Sarah's vocal talents were heard recently in a pilot called Walk on the Wild Side, which has now been commissioned for BBC1 so Sarah will be heading back into the recording studio over the next few months to record for the hilarious show, which features a cast of comics who provide the voices of various animals over real natural history footage:

Finally, the second series of the Conchords' acclaimed TV show returns to UK screens this month.  The series kicks off:

Tuesday 12th May, BBC4, 10.05pm

Under the management of the optimistic but inept Murray, the musicians from New Zealand continue their quest for success with their digi-folk band in New York, with support from their one superfan, Mel.

Demetri Martin to star opposite Brad Pitt in new Hollywood film, Moneyball

Demetri's Hollywood film career continues to flourish as he has landed a leading role starring alongside Brad Pitt in the forthcoming Steven Soderbergh film Moneyball, about ballplayer-turned - Oakland Athletic General Manager Billy Beane (Pitt) and his attempt to field a competitive team on a slim payroll.

Demetri will play Paul De Podesta, a Harvard grad who turned down Wall Street jobs to use his statistical skills to change baseball scouting tactics. His system, known as "Earned Run Value," allowed Beane to evaluate valuable players he could hire at low cost.  The film is due for release in 2011.
