As
a recognised face on every episode of BBC2’s Mock the Week,
in addition to his appearances on numerous other top shows
including Have I Got News For You, The Graham Norton Show and
two appearances on Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle
is an established name in the world of comedy.
Frankie’s
first DVD, Frankie Boyle Live is officially the fastest ever selling debut stand up
release, selling just under 16,000 copies on its first day alone.
To date, over 350,000 copies have been sold.
The main show was recorded at the Hackney Empire as part of
his completely sold out first national tour which was extended due
to phenomenal public demand and extras include a behind-the-scenes
film of Frankie’s mini tour of Scotland.
Frankie
can also be seen as a character in the latest of the Grand Theft
Auto video game series, The Lost
and
the Damned - he can be seen and heard doing stand up in a
comedy club within the game.
Frankie
recently completed his autobiography, available for pre-order on
Amazon now, My Shit Life So Far and will shortly be seen in
the new series of Mock the Week, beginning in July on BBC2.
